juvenile-arthritis: Juvenile Rheumatoid ArthritisThere are three sorts of the disease, namely polyarticular juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, pauciarticular JRA and systemic juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

Polyarticular JRA clutches five or more joints. This type takes place more in girls than in boys. Normally small joints as well as weight-bearing joints, like knees, ankles, hips, neck and feet, are affected in this sort of disease.

Pauciarticular juvenile rheumatoid arthritis is characterized by its occurrence in four or less joints. Generally joints of wrists and knees are spread in this category. Many times, no obvious joint signs are displayed, however iris (colored portion) of the eye is acted on, which is known as uveitis, iridocyclitis or iritis. It can be detected by an eye specialist.

Systemic juvenile rheumatoid arthritis symptoms are seen in the whole body and they are the most crucial ones. Even the spleen as well as lymph nodes can be clutched and are enlarged. Slowly, a lot of the joints start showing pain, swelling and stiffness.

Though there are three kinds of the condition, some symptoms are commonly seen in all of them. They are:

Pain. The most prevalent symptom of any kind of JRA or RA normally is joint pain. You need to observe if your kid complains of joint pain, especially in the morning, after waking up.
Increased body temperatures which increase during the evening time and vanish all of a sudden.
Rashes that appear and disappear abruptly in one or more areas.
Debilitating in finger, knee or wrist.
Stiffness of joints which is aggravated after a period of inactivity.
Stiffness in the joints of hips, neck and other areas.
Swelling of joints which comes abruptly and stays on. Redness and temperature also occur at the joints.

You can keenly observe if your child is displaying one or more of these symptoms. You should tell her or his teacher too about monitoring the little one and notify you consequently. The most troubling matter is the rigor of the symptoms is varying in various children and moreover, in a single child also, it is varying on individual days.

Rheumatologists observe that the more quantity of joints are caught, the more severe is the disease and the less are the possibilities that they will disappear.

Hence, when you know about the juvenile rheumatoid arthritis symptoms well, you can diagnose if your little one is affected by the ailment before it is too late and so you can initiate the curative measures instantly too.

Just a cold or do you think I should go to the doctor?
Since Friday I have a had a cough that is very mucusy sounding. Its like it feels weird at the top of my chest it feels like all junky. Then I have mucus in my throat. I also have a really stuffy nose, I am constantly blowing my nose (its green). I haven't gotten any better but I haven't gotten any worse. I am 15 and a girl. Do I need to go to the doctor or is it just a cold that will pass? And also I have a weak immune system because I am on a buch of meds that make it weak for juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and complex regional pain syndrom.
